Cookie Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
Brain Otter uses only the storage it needs to keep you signed in and secure. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie banner.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. They let a site remember you between pages and visits.
2. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | Strictly necessary (browser storage) | Keeps you logged in and protects your account | Until you sign out, or it expires |
| Preferences | Functional (browser storage) | Remembers small choices, such as the business you last opened | Until you clear it |
We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies on brainotter.com, and we do not let third parties place them.
3. Third-party sign-in pages
When you connect an account, you sign in on that provider's own page (for example Pinterest, Google or Meta). Those pages set their own cookies under their own policies.
4. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary storage, you will not be able to sign in.
5. Changes
If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
